OBJECTIVES & Activities
The African Caribbean Trust (ACT)’s Objectives and activities are :
To celebrate, promote and protect Black & Caribbean Heritage, Identity, Diversity, Ethnicity and culture
The relief of poverty, advancement of education, religion, culture, ethnicity and human rights within Canada and worldwide for the public benefit.
To warehouse data on Black Caribbean Culture and Pan-Africanism.
To to assist Black & Caribbean Canadians to identify, fit in and be proud of their roots and culture
To assist black & caribbean newcomers to resettle and integrate in Canada.
To promote cultural diversity, ethnic tolerance, multiculturalism and fight against racism and injustice.
To design Newcomer Projects, which amongst others, include mentoring, resume building, job search, capacity building of the youth, women, and the Upliftment ofFamilies, Poverty Alleviation Healthy Living and COVID 19 Awareness..
